Rochdale Town Hall was packed with exhibitors representing both the business support community and local businesses. The exhibition had been well publicised and attendance was high, with all exhibitors reporting keen interest and good contacts. Business support exhibitors included NatWest, Molesworth Bright Clegg Solicitors, Hopwood Hall College, Lloyds TSB and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. "We are proud to be the main sponsor of this event and to participate in the exhibition", commented Arif Aziz of NatWest. "From our point of view, it has given us a unique chance to meet with other exhibitors, to increase the profile of NatWest Bank as part of the Rochdale community and to promote our services. The day was a success on all three counts and we are already looking forward to the event next year".
Local companies exhibiting also reported brisk business – Tony Nugent of Anthony K Associates commented, "A most successful day – we have taken one firm order and have several strong leads to follow up". Miriam and Sairah Shah of Safe Hands Recuirtment and Education said, "This is our first exhibition and we believe it has raised the profile of our business in addition to generating good leads which we will now be following up".
